u.s. army
The U.S. Army had had the same website for over 5 years. One that was completely out of touch with both current design trends and their audience. Also, the homepage required flash so was unable to be viewed via mobile or tablet.
In research we found that the most important use of the site is to provide information for those interested in joining the Army. Based upon this information we created the experience to bring important information to the forefront while also updating the style to something more current. In addition, we wanted to create a conversation for those interested in learning more so we brought social conversation to every page including discussion board topics, facebook wall posts, twitter posts, soldier blogs, and flickr imagery.

facebook page
We were also challenged to take the new aesthetic and create a custom facebook brand page. We developed engaging components that allowed not only prospective recruits, but also existing soldiers the ability to engage with the brand.
youtube channel
Finally, due to the success of the site and Facebook page, we were asked to create a YouTube brand channel featuring several categories of videos and based upon the same design style.
